Middleton PTO News - September 16, 2025

Message from the MPTO President

The Middleton Parent Teacher Organization (MPTO) is excited to welcome all students and families to the 2025–2026 school year! We’re looking forward to another year of fun events, community building, and supporting our amazing schools.

Your support is critical to our success. Last year, we raised and donated more than $110,000 to support field trips, in-school educational programs, teacher grants, and school community events. We can’t wait to make this year even more successful than the last. This newsletter highlights the specific ways you can get involved, including:

  • Attend the first MPTO meeting of the year on Sept. 17 at 6:30 p.m. in the Howe-Manning Café.
  • Participate in our school community fundraisers highlighted in this newsletter. Not only does this raise money for our schools, it also supports our local businesses who give back to our students.
  • Participate in the biggest fundraiser of the year, the Fun Run, in the weeks leading up to the big event on Oct. 16. More details will be coming home soon.
  • Celebrate Fall and attend the Pumpkin Festival on Oct. 25 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Howe-Manning.

We hope you’ve had an amazing first couple of weeks and we can’t wait to work with you this year to support our schools!

- Jackie Chiumiento, MPTO President

- Gina Casiello, MPTO Vice President

First MPTO Meeting of the Year!

Don’t miss our first PTO meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 17 at 6:30 p.m. in the Howe-Manning cafeteria—all parents are welcome!

Fun Run Save-the-Date

We’re thrilled for this year’s main fundraiser — the Middleton Fun Run! Our goal is to raise $35,000 for field trips, transportation, curriculum enrichment, in-school programming, and teacher support to benefit our students at Fuller Meadow/Howe-Manning.

Families will gather donations through MyBooster.com by simply sharing your student’s page with friends and family. Every share makes a difference. Be sure to ask your child about the nightly challenges once the fundraiser kicks off!

Students will also enjoy 'Star Quest 5,' an exciting character-building adventure where they'll learn important values through space-themed figures and activities.
